The amount of tears I have shed in the past few weeks is enough to last a normal person a lifetime 🙂
March has been a month of awakening,”what is going on here”, progress,”I can’t take this any more”, spiritual upliftment and like the first line says; TEARS.
I woke up today and I was certain no word would speak to me, I didn’t see what I could hold on to and why I should but as I finished reading my bible plans for today, I search the word “dry your tears” and the scripture for today was given. The beauty of it all is, it is exactly what I needed and the Message version was just perfect for me!
Psalm 116:7-8 (MSG)
I said to myself, “Relax and rest. God has showered you with blessings. Soul, you’ve been rescued from death; Eye, you’ve been rescued from tears; And you, Foot, were kept from stumbling.”
May this be our portion today and always. When it seems like we can’t hold on anymore, may The Lord envelop us in His arms.
I have found comfort in His word, strength in prayers and smiles in the few people God has placed in my life. I pray that a word, a scripture, a person will always be there when you need one.
Have a lovely Sunday and I pray joy and surprising blessings(those you don’t expect, oh those blessings! ) are yours this week!
Thank you for reading, liking, commenting and just sticking by me through this phase; daily dose of the word and all that comes with it:) I really appreciate every form of love and support I get from y’all on here 🙂 Thank you very much.
As we were worshipping in church, this song was laid on heart and I was just happy. The enemy thought they could steal my song but NO!! it cannot be stolen as the Lord is my song!(Psalm 118:14a)
Enjoy one of favourite ministers; Kirk Franklin singing or is it speaking/talking(hehehe) “The storm is over now.”
