Why worry?

I will sing unto The Lord
A joyful song
I will praise His name
For The Lord is good

I love telling you all about the praise song I wake up with everyday and the lyrics above is another song I woke up with 🙂 If you’re wondering how it feels or what it is, The Lord will give you a song. (Amen)

As at 12:30pm today, I’m officially in the labour market, yep I’m jobless(long story, legal contracts won’t let me talk about it) .
I say those words without trepidation or worry, not because of any plans I have but because God’s got me. He is in the midst of it all.

It’s a phase I’m uncertain of; will my any of my skills be relevant? do I even have what it takes? How do interview sessions go again? what is a competency based interview?
So many thoughts flying around but as Jesus was in the midst of the storm, a peace overwhelms me.

I’ve been blessed to work with wonderful people, people with skills, intelligence and knowledge that no one seems to see or wants to harness. I have laughed, shouted and totally felt loved and at home, for that I am thankful.

As I make my way home, the scripture for today popped in my heart and I smiled, He said to me look at the birds and I was like okay, okay I’ve heard You!

18th March
Matthew 6:25, 26 (NLT)
“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?”

When worry or his brother, anxiety creeps in, say to yourself ” I will not worry, I will not fret, because God’s got this and me 🙂 ”
You’ll see every fear, worry, anxiety etc melt away and an unexplainable peace will overwhelm you.

I know I say it often but thought to remind y’all again, I love you and I’m thankful for you, you, you and most especially you! (Yes! you reading now and smiling!)

Enjoy the rest of the day and most especially the song I’ve keyed into; My life is in Your hands by Kirk Franklin
