While you’re wallowing in your “I don’t want to talk to anybody cos I’m going through stuff” phase, remember there are people going through worse issues but choose to see past said issues and go through life with a smile on their face, joy in the hearts and love for others!
Hey quirkies, the above statement or is it saying prompted today’s writing.
People go through a lot but you’ll never know due to their happy demeanour, some argue it’s not the best approach to life’s blows but I disagree with that school of thought.
I believe bottling up feelings, issues and what not is unhealthy, unhealthy for you, relationships around you and any you’re in.
I take people’s issues to heart; I ache and hurt for them, I feel burdened and would do anything I can to help.
The problem with this is that sometimes people get scared or feel they can handle things on their own, forgetting God put people around you as a source of help, encouragement or as simple as being there when you need someone.
Are you going through a challenge and can’t understand why “this” is happening to you? Welcome to my world!
This year, I’ve had so many of these “wtheckisgoingonhere” moments that I tend not to worry anymore when they occur.
God is always faithful and from the earlier series, you’ll remember when I said God gives a word that serves as a life jacket when it feels like you’re drowning in life’s troubles.
The word He gave me for this month is: Exodus 14:14 (NLT)
” The Lord Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm. “
For anyone in a “dark” place today, I say to you don’t worry, God is in control and it will all end in joy. I would also plead that you don’t shut out people around you, people who genuinely care about your well-being. There is always comfort in praying, talking or just being with someone else.
Try it and let me know 🙂
In other news, yours truly is battling a severe case of the sniffles; sneezing, copious amounts of phlegm, hacking like a goat with a dash of noseblowing 🙂 but other than that I am doing good 😛
Life without a job feels a bit weird but God is forever faithful and I know He’s in control. I will have a big testimony to share very, very soon (can I get an amen!)
Have a wonderful week and may God bless you real good!
P.S ; I coloured my hair 🙂 Here’s a photo and a little bit more 🙂
