Laughter 101

“When you focus so much on surviving, nothing is a surprise because you’ve prepared yourself for everything. That’s why nothing is funny anymore. You can’t laugh if you don’t let the unexpected sneak up on you and take you by surprise.”

I was wondering what today’s post would be about and it just clicked when I read the above excerpt.
It’s not from a self-help, motivational book or anything, it’s fiction, some even call it lovey-dovey 😛 but the statement to me is perfecto!

I’m teaching myself to love love(long story for another post) it may sound weird but I’m telling myself that love is beautiful, sweet, real etc using Christ as an example.
Irrespective of how I mess up and stray far from Him, His love never ends, He never for a second stops loving me.
“God’s love is meteoric, His loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic, His verdicts oceanic. Yet in His largeness nothing gets lost; Not a man, not a mouse, slips through the cracks. “(‭Psalm‬ ‭36‬:‭5-6‬ MSG)
This scripture had me like wow and I hope it gets you all warm inside, hehehehe 🙂

So today, I’m encouraging you like Tessa did Brian; open yourself to surprises and feel the laughter seep in your sad places.

Have a lovely evening and keep on brightening people’s lives with you superpower smile 🙂
