“Is anything too hard for the Lord?” The obvious answer is, “Of course not!” This question reveals much about God.
Make it a habit to insert your specific needs into the question.
Asking the question this way reminds you that God is personally involved in your life and nudges you to ask for his power to help you.
Is anything too hard for the Lord?
I read this today and knew I had to write a post( no matter how short 🙂 ) Most times we Christians forget the capabilities of this great God we serve.
We let ourselves get overwhelmed and drown in life’s troubles and worries.
I am guilty of that as well, I call myself a silent worrier. This means I don’t necessarily have a particular issue on my mind I’m worrying about but subconsciously things affect me. This escalates to sleepless nights, mini bouts of depression and a disinterest in things/people around me.
The hope in the scenario described above is Jesus. The picture comes into focus when we flip that issue on its head and say ” is depression too hard for the Lord?” Or “is financial stress too hard for the Lord?” etc.
Research has shown that 95% of the things people worry about never happen.
So today I’m challenging myself as well as you, to always remember God is specially interested in our lives and is ALL powerful.
Have a great week and remember there’s someone who’s waiting for your beautiful smile so don’t hoard it!
Writing this I knew I had to find a song and yes I got one!! It’s not my usual style but it spoke to me 🙂 and as an extra, I’ll put the link for another song that soothes me when the worries creep in 🙂 look out for them below and I pray they uplift you as they did me.
I’m starting something new and I think it’ll be nice getting y’all on it; I call it weekly confessions
This week’s confession: Is <insert whatever bothers you> too hard for the Lord?
Do it everyday and see that fear, worry and stress disappear!
I’ll leave you with my new song of the week; Anything too hard by John Yarde. Seriously stop stressing and know He has a plan for you:)
